Terms for controlled short links.

1. The service

Street Release 1 lets verified account holders create and manage short external redirects at street.sh/l/{identifier}. Generated codes are the default. Custom handles, schedules, expiration dates, and maximum accepted redirects are optional.

Release 1 is limited to the /l product. It does not include hosted pages, commerce, chat, custom domains, customer analytics, billing, or other future Street products.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use a verified email address. Each account begins with a personal workspace that owns its links and public identifiers.

Do not share sessions, attempt to enter another workspace, or use a client-supplied workspace identifier to bypass Street's access controls. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Links, limits, and public identifiers

• Public identifiers are immutable and are never reused.
• Custom handles are globally unique and may be unavailable because of prior use, policy, safety, or protected-name restrictions.
• Strict limits count every accepted GET or HEAD request, including previews, scanners, crawlers, and retries.
• A Street limit governs the redirect only. Someone who already knows the destination URL may still be able to open it.

Editing a destination or limit does not reset the accepted redirect count or change the public identifier.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Street for malware, phishing, impersonation, unlawful content, prohibited commerce, private-network access, redirect loops, bulk enumeration, service disruption, or attempts to evade safety and rate-limit controls.

Street may restrict a link, identifier, workspace, or account when needed to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or keep the service reliable. Administrative actions are reviewed and audited separately from workspace roles.

5. Availability and changes

Redirects fail closed when Street cannot make the required database, quota, destination-safety, or policy decision. Street may schedule maintenance, change Release 1 to preserve security or reliability, and retire unsafe behavior with reasonable notice where practical.

A successful redirect means Street issued the destination. It does not mean the destination loaded, remained available, or completed an action for the visitor.

6. Suspension, deletion, and recovery

Disabling a link is reversible. Deletion stops redirects immediately and provides a 30-day restore window. After that window, Street removes the private link name and destination while retaining the identifier tombstone and limited audit or policy evidence.

Account deletion disables workspace links immediately, offers a 30-day cancellation window, and then follows the deletion limits in the Privacy notice.
